Welcome to cubbyhole Candles & Melts, a small, independent business based in Lancashire!

Founded by Me, Joanne in 2015, the Cubbyhole began as a simple extension of my Complementary Therapy practice. What started with a few 3rd party aromatherapy candles offered to clients has since grown into a full-range gift shop, delivering gifts and carefully curated products to customers across the UK.

With a background in holistic therapies, I bring the same care, attention to detail, and passion for wellbeing into every item I create. From hand-poured wax melts to soothing home fragrances, each product is designed to bring comfort, calm and a little joy into your everyday life.

In 2019, the Cubbyhole relocated from Warwickshire to Lancashire, where it continues to thrive as a family-run operation. I lead on product design and creation, whilst behind the scenes, my husband Charles manages logistics, deliveries and those all-important Post Office runs. Our loyal dog Cassie completes our team as the Head of Security and friendly delivery companion.
